Frank designs his pillows and kites like he paints his pictures. A warm and satisfying collage of textures and colours. 

Sourcing most of his fabrics from Mevius, a deadstock and thrift shop in Amsterdam, he cuts, patches and pins them into place until the balance is just right. One time I even saw him take off his over shirt and chop it up because that was the exact pattern that pillow needed to achieve the contract he was looking for.

My job consists of making these pinned packages come to life as faithfully to his vision as possible
